Perhaps with a brief synopsis from a social worker that understands (and therefore) hates CPS...

It is indisputable, based on empirical evidence, that Child Protective Services (nationwide) is an abject failure of 35 years. As a CPS caseworker, this is utterly consistent with my experience in the field.

There is a reason that criminal jurisprudence has safeguards that sometimes drive each of us crazy. For example, sundry dirt-bags get off on various crimes due to technicalities. It drives all of us crazy. However, the alternative can be overzealous cretins kidnapping children from their parents for no good reason. We have a Constitution, People! Many, like me, think it's pretty good!

It has become evident that this alternative has resulted in Child Protective services wreaking more harm upon society than good. It does not serve the purpose for which it was intended. CPS need be abolished for the good of children, parents and society.
